An AI developer
for the Netherlands.
I'm Ergini, a senior AI developer working remotely on CET - the same timezone as Amsterdam. I ship OpenAI and Claude integrations, RAG, agents, and automation for Dutch startups and scale-ups, GDPR-aware by default, on a direct contract with no agency layer.
What I build
AI integration
OpenAI, Claude, or open-source LLMs wired into your existing product. Streaming, tool-calling, structured outputs, RAG, eval.
RAG and knowledge bases
Retrieval over your documents with hybrid search, reranking, and citation grounding - EU-hosted where residency requires it.
AI agents
Goal-directed agents that call your tools and route through human approval on the actions that matter.
AI workflow automation
Lead gen, document processing, support triage, and back-office automation that saves real hours.
Compliant by design
GDPR and EU AI Act technical controls built in, not bolted on - important for Dutch fintech, health, and govtech.
AI MVPs
End-to-end AI product builds for Dutch startups - design, frontend, backend, model integration, deployment.
Stack
How engagements work
- 01
Discovery call (free, 30 min). You describe the outcome, I ask hard questions, we both leave with a clear picture of what's needed.
- 02
Written scope and quote (3 days). Fixed-scope where possible, milestones, deliverables, and a price you can sign.
- 03
Build (2-10 weeks). Weekly demos. You see the system running every Friday, not at the end.
- 04
Ship and handoff. Deployment, monitoring, docs. Optional retainer for ongoing changes at $100/hr.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work on-site in the Netherlands?
No - I work fully remote from Kosovo on CET, the exact same timezone as the Netherlands. That means real-time collaboration, standups, and pairing with no offset, and none of the cost of an on-site hire. Dutch tech teams are among the most remote-friendly and English-fluent in Europe, so this works smoothly.
Is the language a problem?
No. English is the working language of essentially every Dutch tech company, and the Netherlands has the highest English proficiency of any non-native-English country. All technical work, docs, and communication happen in English. You do not need me to speak Dutch, and I will not pretend to.
How do you handle GDPR and the EU AI Act?
GDPR-aware by default - EU data residency, data minimization, retention controls, and a working deletion path. I also build the technical controls the EU AI Act requires. See my GDPR-compliant AI development and EU AI Act compliant development services. Your legal counsel owns the legal sign-off; I build the system so it can pass.
How does contracting and VAT work for a Dutch company?
Direct B2B contract with EU reverse-charge VAT, so your accounting stays clean and there is no agency in the middle. DPAs and SCCs are routine. You engage me as an independent supplier, not via a payroll or staffing arrangement.
What AI work do you take on?
AI integration into your product, RAG and knowledge bases, AI agents, workflow automation, and end-to-end AI MVPs - across OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and open-source models. Senior-only: I write the code, not coordinate a team.
What does it cost?
Fixed-scope AI integrations typically range $3.5K-$45K, AI MVPs $5K-$60K, hourly $100/hr - competitive with Dutch senior contractor rates while delivering production-grade work. Scoped after a free 30-minute call.
