CET · Direct contract · No agency

Hire a software developer
in Europe.

I'm Ergini, a senior software developer working on CET. I build web apps, SaaS platforms, and MVPs for European companies, in real time, in your working hours. Direct contract, GDPR-aware, EU reverse-charge VAT on the invoice. No agency layer between you and the person writing the code.

Built for the way European teams work

The hard part of hiring a remote developer is rarely the code. It is the timezone gap, the contract paperwork, and not knowing who actually does the work. I am set up specifically to remove those frictions for European clients.

On CET I share your whole working day, so review and decisions happen now, not tomorrow. The contract is direct between you and me, with EU reverse-charge VAT handled cleanly and standard DPAs and SCCs signed when your compliance team needs them. And the person on the call is the person committing the code, so nothing gets lost in translation through an account manager.

How working together looks

Real-time overlap

CET (UTC+1) covers a full European workday and nearly all of the UK. Live standups, live pairing, same-day review.

Clean contracting

Direct SOW or hourly retainer. EU reverse-charge VAT, net invoices, no agency markup stacked on top.

GDPR-aware by default

DPAs and SCCs on request, data minimization, and EU-region hosting where your data residency rules require it.

One senior owner

Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, deployed on Vercel, Cloudflare, or AWS. One person, end to end.

Countries I work with

European companies I have worked with or am set up to serve span the continent. Among them:

GermanyUnited KingdomNetherlandsSwitzerlandIrelandFranceSwedenDenmarkNorwayAustriaBelgiumFinland

Based in the Balkans specifically? I keep a separate page for hiring a software engineer in Kosovo, and one for a lead AI engineer if AI is the core of the build.

Frequently asked questions

Which European countries do you work with?

Anywhere in Europe. Most engagements have been with companies in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, the Nordics, and France, but the timezone and contracting work the same across the continent.

What are your working hours relative to my team?

I work on CET (UTC+1), so I overlap the full working day for continental Europe and almost all of it for the UK. Standups, pairing, and code review happen in real time, not over a 10-hour async gap.

How do contracts, VAT, and data protection work?

I invoice as a Kosovo-registered freelancer. For EU B2B clients, reverse-charge VAT applies, so you handle VAT on your side and my invoice is net. I sign standard DPAs and SCCs, and I build GDPR-aware by default: data minimization, clear data flows, and EU-region hosting where you need it.

Why hire a remote individual instead of a European agency?

With me you talk to the person writing the code. No account manager relaying messages, no junior bench, no rebranded contractors, and no agency markup on top. One senior developer who owns the build from architecture to deploy, usually at a noticeably lower rate than a Western European agency for equivalent seniority.

Is your English good enough for a European client team?

Yes. I work entirely in English: calls, docs, code comments, and pull requests. Clear written communication is part of the job, not an afterthought.

What does it cost?

Fixed-scope software builds and MVPs run $5K-$60K, and ongoing work after launch is $100/hr. I set the exact range around your requirements after a free 30-minute discovery call.
